Volunteer Fire Department

Donations

The Klamath River Volunteer Fire Department is just that. Completely voluntary and community supported. We receive no regular support from any state or federal agency. We rely solely on donations. Both in the time our members donate and the monies our community donates.

Our Department needs your support to remain in operation. Operating a Fire Department, even a volunteer one, is expensive. Equipment, insurance and fuel costs are but a few of the expenses the Department incurs. Without the gracious support of the community we would be unable to provide the services so desperately needed.

Please consider giving whatever you can afford to our cause. Your donation is greatly appreciated by us not just as members of the Department but also as members of the community.

Fund raising activities are organized by both the Klamath River Fire Department, who go out on strike teams to defend homes during the wildland fires season, direct County Fair Parking at the Siskiyou County Golden Fair annually and also the Auxiliary hold community get together's during the year. Check out the Upcoming Events page for the next event which gives you the opportunity to have fun and help the Department at the same time.

The Department also sends out annual donation requests via direct mail which provides another option for supporting us.

If you missed this mailing or would like to make a donation now instead of waiting, please send your donations to:
